Mary Chatfield, President "I am very excited to announce that we have two women from Democratic Women of Forsyth County who have qualified this week for local positions on the ballot in Forsyth County. I have qualified to run as a County Commissioner for the District 1 seat on the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners and Camille Fareri, Ph.D., has qualified for the ballot for the seat from District 2 on the Forsyth County Board of Education! I am excited about the possibilities and am glad that the only two Democrats running for these local positions are both women. Sharon Howard for HD 136 Congratulations to Sharon Howard, one of our vice-presidents of Middle Georgia Democratic Women's Club, who qualified today to run for House District 136, the seat currently held by Rep. Tony Sellier. Sharon is a resident of Byron. She is the only Democrat in the race. Kristina Simms We are going to need all of your support and more info will be sent out as we get our campaigns organized. We will definitely need financial help and volunteers to get the word out that there are qualified and able women running for these two offices.
